Product Labelling: UKCA and CE Markings webinar
The session will be specifically tailored to business and the steps the steps you will need to take to comply with the new product labelling rules.
This week, following Make UK lobbying, the UK Government announced the decision to extend the standstill period for recognition of the CE mark for a further 12 months. The new Government guidance can be found here. However, you will still need to prepare to adopt the UKCA markings.
The event, which is free for you to attend, will look at the introduction of the UKCA mark and what it means for businesses. The agenda will cover government policy, alongside specific examples to illustrate the practical and technical implications for GB manufacturers when labelling goods & machinery.
Attendees will hear from the Department for Business and Industrial Strategy on how to secure a UKCA mark and the changes to UK Notified Bodies, and a Make UK expert on compliance with the new rules.
