Pamela Aculey is an award-winning author, entrepreneur and CEO of ‘Just Like Me Books’ – the UK’s first Augmented Reality technology picture books that champion diversity and inclusiveness. Her books have been read by many including Davina Mccall, The Duchess of York and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 star Will Poulter. Pamela also has over 13 years experience in the fitness industry and runs a successful online fitness community.

This year the CE East Midlands Awards are supporting ‘Children with Cancer’ who play a vital role in funding ground-breaking research into understanding – and ultimately conquering – childhood cancers. With 12 children a day currently facing that bleak diagnosis, the charity are committed to realising a world where every child survives cancer. Founded in 1988 by the O’Gorman family, who lost two children to cancer, they have huge ambitions not only to raise their profile but also to maximise fundraising capacity in what is their 35^thanniversary year this year.
