Carbon Literacy & Circular Economy Workshop for the Construction Sector
What is Carbon Literacy?
“An awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” The Carbon Literacy Project.
You are invited to a free one-day workshop introducing the circular economy to Carbon Literacy with a focus on the construction industry.
This workshop will help you:
- Understand how emissions associated with your actions may be affecting climate change
- Explore ways to reduce your impact and the associated benefits of doing so
- Learn about others actions to reduce carbon emissions including examples from the construction sector.
On completion of the workshop you can apply for Carbon Literacy accreditation from the Carbon Literacy Project and access fully funded support for your business from the EnTRESS project*.
