Find out how a new form of procurement is re-writing the rule book at the CE Midlands Procurement and Productivity Thought Leadership Forum.
Join us on 31 January 2019 at 12noon at Bouygues Birmingham, 92 Edward Street, B1 2RA - to find out why Integrated Project Insurance (IPI) is being hailed as a ‘game changer’ for construction procurement.
With procurement and productivity being at the top of the national construction agenda, CE Midlands is inviting people from all sides of the industry to contribute to the debate and share best practice principles.
IPI is one of the most innovative, next generation models of procurement. Facilitating collaboration, early engagement, shared project risk, whole team insurance and a ‘no blame, no claim’ culture – IPI is leading to operational efficiencies, control of costs and focus on client success criteria.
Hear from the Advance II Alliance team that delivered the UK’s first IPI scheme at Advance II at Dudley College of Technology and find out why the College has chosen to take the IPI route for the second time on the Institute of Transformational Technologies. This and other forms of procurement will be discussed with the objective of driving change at the new CE Midlands Thought Leadership Forum.
IPI is capable of being applied to a vast range of projects in the public and private sectors and has been trialled and promoted by the Government Construction Strategies 2011 and 2016 – 2020.
Joining us will be members of the Advance II Alliance team including:
• IPI initiatives – developers and facilitator of IPI
• Speller Metcalfe, the only contractor to have delivered IPI in the UK
• Dudley College of Technology
• Fulcro, engineering services and project coordinators
• RLB, Financial Independent Risk Assurer (FIRA)
