Innovation in Construction and Sustainability
31st July 2019 at Energy Systems Catapult, Birmingham
Working Towards a Collaborative Future
The construction industry is facing a world of change, opportunity and challenge. With demand for new buildings rising steeply, the ever-present pressures of constructing to time and cost, new obligations in relation to quality and sustainability, and the burgeoning demands of the digitised world, there has never been a time when change has been so imperative.
Exploring the key themes of sustainability, digitisation, productivity, consumer insight and whole-life usage, Energy Systems Catapult, collaborating with Constructing Excellence Midlands and the Innovation Alliance for the West Midlands, is offering a workshop and partnerships morning. This event provides a fantastic chance to learn about how the construction and sustainability sectors can work together and, specifically, how you can harness the capabilities of Energy Systems Catapult to create new ways of thinking, designing and producing built environment offerings that meet regulatory, market and consumer needs whilst increasing competitiveness through business and technological know-how.
Our workshop will provide you with key insights into the energy industry, as well as a chance to meet potential partners and join project consortia to bid for forthcoming funding and prepare for future income-generating opportunities.
We welcome all sections of the construction industry and those who work within and with it on the supply side, and also on the demand side. The event is especially suitable for both business and technical management staff, as well as strategic leaders.
